1. Application & funding review

We will check whether your company is eligible for funding and will process the application for you. As soon as funding approval has been received, the consultation can start.

2. Start consultation

In sessions individually tailored to your company, you will receive practical support on your topics from us personally — clear, understandable and directly implementable.

3. Receive proof & subsidy

After the consultation, we submit all documents for your company online. After verification by BAFA, the subsidy is paid out — up to 80% of the costs are covered.

FAQ: Everything you need to know about BAFA consulting

Who can apply for BAFA funding?

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from all sectors are supported. Start-ups can also use the funding, but must then hold an information meeting with a regional contact person before submitting the application.

Which consultations are funded?

Individual consulting sessions relating to economic, financial, personnel or organizational issues of corporate management are funded. 
Important: The advice must not include the purchase or installation of systems or products, but is aimed purely at providing advice.

How many consultations can be funded?

Webflow is a powerful tool for creating websites — without classic programming, but with full creative freedom. It combines design, CMS and hosting in one system.

How much is the subsidy and who pays the rest?

The amount of the subsidy depends on the federal state in which your company is based: In the old federal states (including Berlin and Leipzig, excluding Lüneburg and Trier), 50% of the consulting costs are covered, a maximum of 1,750€ per consultation. In the new federal states (excluding Berlin and the Leipzig region), the subsidy amounts to 80%, up to €2,800. You pay the remaining contribution directly to the consulting firm.

When does the consultation start and how is the application process going?

Within the period of validity of the funding guideline (until December 31, 2026), each company can receive a maximum of five completed consultations, but not more than two per year. The date of application is decisive.

What do I have to do after the consultation?

After the consultation, we submit the most important documents online, such as a consulting report, invoice and account statement. The control center checks everything and, after approval, the subsidy is paid out.
